Terpene Guide
Terpenes are the compounds behind the citrus of limonene, the pepper of caryophyllene, and the heavy musk of myrcene. They are easiest to notice as aroma, but they may also help explain why two products with similar THC can feel surprisingly different. We treat terpenes as signals, not magic. They do not explain everything, but ignoring them leaves out a lot.
Note Effect and aroma tags are derived from published research and terpene scoring models — not clinical trials. Individual experiences vary. This is not medical advice.
The stats below are pulled from real dispensary lab data in our database.
Product counts and averages update as we scrape new menus. The notes on each terpene lean on
published research, but we try to separate measured chemistry from stronger or weaker
evidence.
